Advanced Recon Commandos—also known as Advanced Recon Clone troopers or simply ARC troopers—were an elite variant of clone trooper that were developed during the Clone Wars. Although much rarer than other clones on the galactic scale, they were also among the most skilled soldiers in the galaxy.

Modern ARC Troopers have been Genetically Enhanced to be the ultimate soldiers. They are stronger, faster and have greater endurance as well as an enhanced senses and a supercharged metabolism to help them survive the most severe wounds.
